Prime Minister’s Youth Laptop Scheme 2025 Relaunched

The federal government has officially relaunched the Prime Minister’s Youth Laptop Scheme for 2025 to distribute 100,000 laptops to top-performing students enrolled in public sector universities across Pakistan.
This initiative is part of the broader Digital Youth Hub programme, which is designed to enhance digital literacy, promote equitable access to technology, and empower the country’s youth through skill development.
According to the Higher Education Commission (HEC), the programme welcomes applicants from all academic disciplines, ensuring that students from diverse fields benefit from digital access. The selection process will follow a strict merit-based system, with a special focus on financially deserving students to promote inclusivity and fairness.
Students who meet the eligibility criteria must submit their applications by May 20, 2025.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants must be currently enrolled in a public sector university recognised by the HEC.
- Selection will be based on academic merit.
- Financial need will also be considered to prioritise students who lack access to essential digital tools.
