Punjab Information Minister Azma Bukhari has said that the recent action of the Chief Minister of India’s Bihar state has once again reminded people of the Two Nation Theory. In her statement, she thanked God for living in an independent country and urged citizens to value Pakistan and its freedom.

Azma Bukhari said that such incidents clearly show the difference between Pakistan and India in terms of respect for minorities and women. She added that freedom and dignity are blessings that should never be taken lightly.

Along with her statement, Azma Bukhari shared a video in which Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz can be seen appreciating and honoring a female officer. She said this reflects the respect given to women in Pakistan.

The statement came after an incident in Patna, Bihar, where Chief Minister Nitish Kumar reportedly pulled the veil of a Muslim woman doctor during an official event. The ceremony was organized to distribute appointment letters to doctors under India’s Ministry of AYUSH.

The incident was widely criticized by Indian politicians, journalists, and human rights groups, and a case was registered against Nitish Kumar. Azma Bukhari said such actions clearly explain why the Two Nation Theory remains relevant even today.
