Traffic Plan Set for Pakistan-South Africa Matches

Rawalpindi traffic authorities have put together a detailed traffic management strategy to ensure smooth movement during the upcoming Pakistan vs South Africa cricket matches at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. The plan will be active from October 20 to 24.

To accommodate the arrival and departure of teams, several road closures and diversions have been arranged.
Vehicles traveling from Islamabad towards Rawalpindi will be redirected to the Expressway via Faizabad, while traffic going from Rawalpindi to Islamabad will take an alternate route through Sixth Road and Saidpur.

During the match days, Stadium Road will be closed between 9th Avenue Chowk and Double Road. Commuters coming from Islamabad via 9th Avenue can use IJP Road and Faizabad as alternative routes.
Murree Road will also be closed temporarily from Faizabad to Double Road when teams are moving. Traffic near Ghousia Chowk will be rerouted through Farooq-e-Azam Road and Kuri Road.
For the convenience of spectators, three designated parking areas have been arranged: Civil Aviation Ground, Shahbaz Sharif Park, and Graduate College. To help fans reach the stadium easily, shuttle services will operate between these parking zones and the stadium.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has revealed ticket pricing for the upcoming white-ball series between Pakistan and South Africa. The series will begin with three T20 internationals starting October 28 at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, followed by two matches in Lahore on October 31 and November 1.
The three One Day Internationals (ODIs) are scheduled for Faisalabad on November 4, 6, and 8.
Tickets for the opening T20 match in Rawalpindi are priced to cater to all kinds of cricket fans, with general admission starting at PKR 400. Premium seating, such as Platinum Box seats, are available for up to PKR 15,000.
