Israel and Syria have agreed to establish a special communication system with mediation from the United States to reduce tensions and improve coordination. The move aims to support intelligence sharing, diplomatic contacts, and possible future security arrangements. In the middle of this development, the Israel Syria special communication mechanism is being seen as a key step toward easing regional tensions.

A joint statement was issued by the United States, Israel, and Syria stating that the new contact system will help reduce military escalation. It will also support diplomatic engagement and may open the door to limited trade and cooperation.

The statement revealed that Israel and Syria had been holding indirect talks intermittently over the past year. These discussions were focused on creating a security framework that could help stop repeated Israeli strikes on Syrian territory.

According to the joint statement, the new mechanism will serve as a platform to quickly address disputes and prevent misunderstandings. It is designed to allow faster communication during sensitive situations and avoid further conflict.

This development follows recent meetings between Israeli and Syrian officials held in Paris, which were also attended by Syria’s foreign minister. The United States described the move as an important step toward long-term peace in the Middle East, with the Israel Syria special communication mechanism expected to play a central role in future stability.
