Ahmad Nawaz Honored with British Empire Medal for Youth Empowerment

Ahmad Nawaz, a survivor of the 2014 Army Public School (APS) attack, has been awarded the British Empire Medal by HM King Charles III in recognition of his dedication to youth empowerment.

Nawaz is set to visit Buckingham Palace later this summer, where he will meet King Charles III. During the meeting, he plans to discuss challenges faced by youth around the world and explore ways to drive positive change.
Having survived the tragic APS attack a decade ago, Nawaz has transformed his experience into a mission to support and uplift young people globally. His journey continues to inspire many, demonstrating the power of perseverance and advocacy.
