DG ISPR Engages with Students at Islamia University Bahawalpur

RAWALPINDI – Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR), Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, recently held a special session with the students and teachers of Islamia University Bahawalpur. The session also included representatives from various educational institutions and seminaries.
During the event, Lt Gen Chaudhry paid tribute to the people of Bahawalpur for their valuable contributions to Pakistan’s independence and stability. He emphasized the importance of their support in shaping the nation’s history.
The session primarily focused on national and regional security, with an in-depth discussion on the role of the Pakistan Army in ensuring national defense. Lt Gen Chaudhry also highlighted the significance of Operation Bunyanun Marsoos.
A key topic was the threat posed by external propaganda, particularly the movements backed by India. The DG ISPR stressed the importance of media literacy to protect the youth from negative and misleading narratives.
