Gold Prices Hit Record High in Pakistan Amid Global Surge

KARACHI – Gold prices in Pakistan soared to a historic high on Monday, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
The price of 24-karat gold per tola rose sharply by Rs8,100, reaching a record Rs357,800, compared to Rs349,700 on the previous trading day. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold climbed by Rs6,944, settling at Rs306,755 from the previous Rs299,811.
This domestic surge followed a global upswing in gold rates, with international prices increasing by $69 to reach $3,395 per ounce from $3,326.
