Hajj 2026 Biometric Verification Deadline Extended to February 17

The Ministry of Religious Affairs extended the deadline for biometric verification for Hajj 2026 pilgrims on Monday. The new deadline is February 17. The ministry said this step ensures that all intending pilgrims can complete verification on time. Authorities emphasized that the Saudi visa process requires mandatory biometric verification. Without it, pilgrims cannot obtain a Hajj visa.
A ministry spokesperson explained that biometric verification is essential for visa approval. He added that the Saudi authorities will not accept any visa applications without completed biometrics. The process is part of efforts to streamline Hajj arrangements and ensure compliance with Saudi regulations. Pilgrims were urged to complete the verification promptly to avoid delays.
Moreover, the spokesperson said biometrics can be completed at Tasheer Centres. These centers are established in six major cities across Pakistan. Pilgrims can also register fingerprints using the mobile app “Saudi Visa Bio”. The ministry highlighted that both options are secure and recognized by Saudi authorities.

In addition, pilgrims were reminded to save their verification email or receipt. This document serves as proof of completed verification and may be required at later stages. Authorities warned that failure to keep the receipt could delay visa processing. They encouraged careful record-keeping for a smooth Hajj journey.
Finally, the ministry reassured pilgrims that all arrangements are being made to facilitate them. Officials emphasized completing biometrics early to avoid last-minute issues. The extension reflects the government’s commitment to ensuring a safe and organized Hajj 2026 for all participants.
