ICE officer kills woman Minneapolis

A US immigration officer shot and killed a woman in Minneapolis on Wednesday, sparking protests and widespread outrage. The woman, identified as 37-year-old Renee Nicole Good, was hit at point-blank range near her vehicle.

According to witnesses, Good tried to drive away from ICE agents crowding her car. Footage shows a masked ICE agent fire three times, causing the SUV to crash into stationary vehicles.

President Trump’s administration claimed Good tried to attack the officers. However, Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey rejected this, calling the claim “bullshit” and demanding ICE leave his city.

Thousands of protesters took to the streets, holding signs reading “ICE out of MPLS.” Local officials have criticized ICE’s presence and said federal enforcement drives create tension.

DHS chief Kristi Noem called the incident “domestic terrorism” and defended ICE’s actions. She said Good “weaponized her vehicle” after obstructing agents, while Minnesota Governor Tim Walz called the federal response propaganda.

Witnesses described a grisly scene, with bloodied bodies and denied medical assistance. Good’s mother said her daughter was “probably terrified” and not involved in any attack on ICE officers.

The shooting occurred amid aggressive immigration enforcement under the Trump administration, which has deployed thousands of officers nationwide. Critics say ICE operates like a paramilitary force, targeting undocumented migrants and provoking public anger.
