Senior PML-N leader and Adviser to the Prime Minister, Rana Sanaullah, has said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan served his jail sentence in a commendable manner.
Speaking to the media in Lahore, Rana Sanaullah referred to the Prime Minister’s Independence Day speech, noting that it included a call for a “Charter of Pakistan’s Stability.” He emphasised that meaningful dialogue is essential to achieve this goal.
He further stressed the importance of respecting judicial decisions, stating that Imran Khan has the right to appeal against any verdict. “Whether the decision is in his favour or not, the law must apply equally to everyone,” he said.
Commenting on the upcoming by-elections scheduled for September 9, the PML-N leader said his party had raised no objections to PTI’s candidates. “All political parties should be given a fair and transparent opportunity to participate,” he added.
