Iran Declares European Military Forces Terrorist Organizations

Iran has strongly reacted to recent actions by the European Union by labeling European military forces as terrorist groups. The statement came after the EU moved against Iran’s Revolutionary Guards, escalating tensions between Tehran and Brussels, as Iran declares European forces terrorist organizations in response to what it calls hostile decisions.
The reaction was issued by Iran’s National Security Council Secretary Ali Larijani, who criticized the European Union for ignoring Iran’s internal laws. He said European countries are fully aware of Iran’s legal position regarding the Revolutionary Guards but chose to act against it anyway.
Larijani stated that all countries involved in the EU resolution against the Revolutionary Guards would now be treated under Iranian law as supporters of terrorism. He warned that the consequences of this decision would rest entirely on those European states that supported the move.

Iranian media reported that the country’s parliament had already passed a law in April 2019 declaring any entity that labels the Revolutionary Guards as a terrorist group to be terrorist itself. Officials emphasized that this law remains fully active and enforceable.
The statement comes a day after the European Union officially declared Iran’s Revolutionary Guards a terrorist organization, a move Iran called irresponsible and politically motivated, as Iran declares European forces terrorist organizations and signals a sharp rise in diplomatic and military tensions between both sides.
