Karachi business community launches new airline with 5 billion rupees investment

The business community of Karachi has decided to introduce a new airline named “Air Karachi.” The airline has officially been registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP). Renowned businessman Hanif Goher confirmed this development, adding that an application for the airline’s license has also been submitted to the federal government.

Initially, three aircraft will be leased for Air Karachi’s operations, and Air Vice Marshal Imran has been appointed as the CEO of the airline. Hanif Goher further confirmed that prominent business figures, including Aqeel Karim Dhedhi, Arif Habib, SM Tanveer, Bashir Jan Muhammad, Khalid Toab, Zubair Tufail, and Hamza Tabani, are shareholders in Air Karachi.

A Bright Future for Air Karachi’s License

Hanif Goher also stated that the chances of obtaining Air Karachi’s license are now looking very promising. He mentioned that the airline is being launched with an investment of 5 billion rupees, and each shareholder’s contribution is 50 million rupees.

Air Karachi is set to become a landmark development in Pakistan’s aviation industry. With its launch, it will not only create new job opportunities but also mark an important step for the business community.
