KP floods: Saudi Arabia, Türkiye, UK, and others offer condolences and aid

Following the devastating floods in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, several countries — including Saudi Arabia, Türkiye, Russia, Iran, the UAE, Kuwait, and the United Kingdom — have expressed sorrow and offered support for relief efforts.

The Saudi Foreign Minister expressed solidarity, saying the Kingdom stands with the people of Pakistan in this difficult time. Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian affirmed Iran’s readiness to provide all forms of assistance. Russian President Vladimir Putin sent a message of condolence to President Asif Zardari. The UAE Foreign Ministry reaffirmed its support for flood victims. The Turkish Foreign Ministry expressed deep sympathy and condolences.

Additionally, Kuwaiti Crown Prince Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Sabah assured Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar of full support via a phone call, while UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy also phoned Dar to express grief and solidarity.

The response signals growing international cooperation for relief and rehabilitation efforts in the affected regions.
