NAB transfers 166 Sindh-related cases to Anti-Corruption Sindh

The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has transferred 166 corruption cases related to Sindh to the Anti-Corruption Department Sindh. These cases include financial irregularities in various departments and are being handed over to ensure further investigation and accountability. NAB transfers 166 Sindh-related cases to Anti-Corruption Sindh to allow provincial authorities to continue legal and investigative processes effectively.

Out of the 166 cases, 107 are references, while 28 are ongoing investigations. In addition, 31 inquiries are part of the transferred files. These cases cover various types of corruption complaints and are being processed for proper legal action.

Anti-Corruption Sindh officials confirmed that 52 of these references are currently pending in courts. They also noted that the complete records of 64 cases have not yet been fully provided by NAB, which may delay certain investigations temporarily.

Along with these cases, NAB has also transferred 711 complaints related to corruption. Sources said the cases involve Sindh’s Food, Local Government, Culture, Revenue, and Special Education departments. The transfer aims to strengthen the accountability process within the province.

All cases were sent from NAB’s Karachi and Sukkur offices. The move demonstrates that NAB transfers 166 Sindh-related cases to Anti-Corruption Sindh to ensure proper provincial-level investigation and enforcement, marking a step forward in addressing corruption in Sindh.
