Prime Minister Announces Major Fuel Price Cut Amid Peace Efforts

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced a major fuel price cut while addressing the nation. He said diesel prices will drop by 135 rupees per liter, and petrol prices will decrease by 12 rupees per liter. This major fuel price cut aims to provide relief to the public.

He stated that he was speaking at a historic moment. He added that instead of conflict, talks of peace are emerging in the Gulf region. Moreover, he said that both sides have agreed to move toward dialogue, which marks a positive global development.

The Prime Minister thanked the leadership of Iran and United States for accepting his proposal. He shared that both countries are now willing to engage in discussions. Furthermore, he announced that their leadership will visit Pakistan soon.

He emphasized that hosting these talks is not only an honor for Pakistan but also for the wider Muslim world. He said Pakistan played a key role in bringing both sides closer. In addition, he revealed that both parties have agreed to a temporary ceasefire.
