Sindh bans all types of plastic bags across the province

The Sindh government has imposed a complete ban on all types of plastic bags across the province, following recommendations from the Environmental Protection Department.

The ban applies to all sizes and weights of plastic bags, including carrier and shopping bags, whether non-biodegradable or oxo-degradable.

This move comes as part of amendments to the 2014 Plastic Products Regulations, aimed at strengthening environmental protection and reducing plastic pollution.
