The Inspector General of Police (IGP) Sindh has introduced a dedicated Complaint Management System (CMS) aimed at helping citizens report grievances related to police misconduct, including delays or refusal in registering First Information Reports (FIRs).

The system, known as the IGP Sindh Complaint Cell, provides multiple channels for the public to lodge complaints and seek timely resolution of issues involving police stations across the province. Authorities say the initiative is designed to improve accountability, transparency, and public access to justice.

Citizens can register complaints through several official platforms. A dedicated helpline (1715) has been set up for direct assistance, while complaints can also be submitted via WhatsApp at 0314-105831. In addition, an online portal under the IGP Complaint Management System allows users to file, track, and monitor the status of their complaints. An official email address, aigcomplaints.cpo@sindhpolice.gov.pk, has also been provided for detailed submissions.

The complaint cell covers a wide range of issues, including non-registration of FIRs, faulty or biased investigations, corruption allegations such as bribery demands, and misconduct by police personnel. It also addresses cases of illegal detention, harassment, and the registration of false FIRs.

Officials have instructed citizens to include their CNIC number when submitting complaints related to FIR delays to ensure proper verification and faster processing. For additional queries or assistance, citizens can contact the designated helplines 021-99212681 and 021-99211663 during office hours from 9am to 5pm.

Authorities say the system is intended to streamline grievance handling and reduce public frustration with police services, particularly in cases where citizens face difficulty in getting their complaints officially registered at police stations.
