Terrorists Targeted 12 Cities in Balochistan: Atta Tarar

Information Minister Atta Tarar said terrorists had planned attacks on 12 cities in Balochistan. He explained that the attackers wanted to damage peace and stability in the province. However, timely action by security forces prevented the plot from succeeding.

Moreover, Atta Tarar praised the security forces and the Pakistan Army for their efforts in foiling the attacks. He said their strong response helped Balochistan avoid major losses. He added that the forces fought bravely and defeated the terrorists.

Meanwhile, the minister stated that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif remained fully informed about the situation. He stressed that the government closely monitored the entire security situation. He also highlighted the effective coordination between civilian and military leadership.

Furthermore, Atta Tarar said Pakistan achieved victory under Field Marshal Asim Munir’s leadership. He claimed that India remained under pressure after Pakistan’s success. He added that the country’s security agencies would continue to defeat all proxy elements.

Finally, the minister criticized a spokesperson from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government. He accused the spokesperson of making irresponsible statements on television. He said that governor’s rule becomes necessary when a provincial government fails to perform effectively.
