Ali Larijani has claimed that more than 500 American soldiers have been killed in recent Iranian attacks, sharply escalating tensions between the two countries. In a strong statement, he said that Iran attacks claim 500 American soldiers and blamed U.S. leadership for entering what he described as an unjust war. This report highlights his allegations, the political reaction, and concerns raised by U.S. defense officials, providing a clear overview of the developing situation.
Speaking on social media, Larijani said that former President Donald Trump had pushed the American people into conflict due to what he called the reckless actions of Israel’s leadership. He questioned whether the “America First” policy was still being followed, arguing that the recent deaths of U.S. troops show the cost of the conflict.
Larijani further warned that there would be a heavy price to pay for what he referred to as the martyrdom of Iran’s Supreme Leader. His comments have added to the already tense political atmosphere and increased fears of further escalation between the two sides.

On the other hand, U.S. officials reportedly told members of Congress in a closed-door briefing that Iranian Shahed drones have become a serious challenge for American air defense systems. They explained that these drones fly at low altitude and slow speed, making them harder to detect and intercept compared to ballistic missiles.
Despite the concerns, some officials tried to downplay the threat by saying that Gulf allies are increasing their stockpiles of interceptor missiles. However, the situation remains tense, especially as Iran attacks claim 500 American soldiers continues to be a central point in the ongoing political and military debate.
