Pakistan-India tensions: Punjab government denies rumors of school closures

Lahore: Punjab Minister for Information and Culture, Azma Bokhari, has dismissed circulating rumors about extended holidays in educational institutions following Indian attacks, calling the news “fake.”
In a post on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), the minister confirmed that all schools, colleges, and educational institutions across Punjab would remain open as usual tomorrow. She clarified that the notification being shared on social media is fabricated.
Bokhari added that any decision regarding school closures would be taken based on the evolving situation and verified through official channels only.
