Babar Azam Acknowledges Dip in Form, Vows to Bounce Back

Peshawar Zalmi skipper Babar Azam has openly acknowledged his recent struggles with form, admitting that he hasn’t lived up to expectations during the ongoing season.
Addressing reporters in Lahore, the star batter said he has been putting in consistent effort during training but has found it difficult to convert that confidence into match-winning performances. “I feel good in the nets, but that rhythm hasn’t quite translated into the games,” Babar said.
Despite the setbacks, Babar emphasised his commitment to giving his all on the field. “I always aim to give 100%, but sometimes things don’t go the way you plan,” he noted. The seasoned campaigner also expressed empathy for fans, acknowledging their disappointment. “When people are let down, I feel that too. Plans don’t always play out as expected during a match,” he added.
