ISLAMABAD – Federal Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication Shaza Fatima Khawaja inaugurated the Artificial Intelligence 101 module at the Civil Services Academy. The launch targeted 52 probationary officers from Balochistan, 46 from Sindh, and 10 additional officers from Sindh.

The AI module is a joint initiative of the Ministry of IT & Telecom, Planning Commission, CSA, and Atomcamp. It aligns with the government’s efforts to strengthen digital skills among civil servants.

The Minister briefed officers on Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s Digital Nation Vision and the Digital Nation Pakistan Act. The Act lays the legislative foundation for Pakistan’s digital transformation across digital economy, society, and governance.

She emphasized that the Digital Nation Pakistan Act is not just a technology document but a governance reform framework. It focuses on capability, responsibility, and institutional readiness to drive digital transformation across government institutions.
