COAS Asim Munir Praises Endurance and Skill at PATS 2025

RAWALPINDI: The 8th International Pakistan Army Team Spirit (PATS) Competition concluded at Kharian Garrison after a gruelling 60-hour exercise designed to strengthen combat readiness and encourage the exchange of tactical knowledge among military teams.

The event featured participation from seven teams of the Pakistan Army, a team from the Pakistan Navy, and fifteen teams representing friendly countries. The exercise was held in the semi-mountainous terrain of Punjab, testing the participants on endurance, teamwork, and military skills under challenging conditions.

Over the years, PATS has gained a reputation as a premier professional military event, drawing interest from international forces for its demanding nature and collaborative learning environment.

Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir attended the closing ceremony as the chief guest. He praised the participants for their professionalism, physical and mental strength, and the high morale demonstrated throughout the competition.
