Karachi: The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) witnessed a strong bullish trend today, as investor sentiment remained positive throughout the trading session.
The benchmark KSE-100 Index surged by 1,067 points, closing at 118,383 points. During the session, the index fluctuated within a range of 1,114 points, indicating high market activity.
A total of 670 million shares were traded, with a cumulative value of approximately Rs. 36 billion. Market capitalization increased by Rs. 148 billion, reaching a total of Rs. 14,494 billion.
This robust performance reflects growing investor confidence and optimism regarding economic prospects and potential policy developments.
