Section 144 imposed in North Waziristan to maintain law and order

The district government has enforced Section 144 in North Waziristan for one month to ensure security and stability in the region. The decision, announced on Wednesday, aims to prevent any activities that could disrupt law and order.
According to an official notification issued by North Waziristan Deputy Commissioner Yousuf Kareem, the display of arms has been strictly prohibited across the district. Additionally, previously issued authority letters for possessing arms have been revoked.
As part of the restrictions, the use of unauthorized WiFi devices has been banned, and SIM cards deemed illegal will be deactivated. The administration has warned that anyone found violating the orders will face strict legal action.
The enforcement of Section 144 is a preventive measure taken by the authorities to maintain peace in the region. Local residents have been advised to comply with the directives to avoid penalties.
